Energology℠ is a professional energy healing system developed by Grandmaster Hovey Williams to train and certify energy healers—known as Energologists℠—who provide advanced, holistic healthcare services. Unlike other healing modalities, Energology℠ integrates a broad curriculum tailored specifically for energy healing, establishing practitioners with deep expertise comparable to physicians, acupuncturists, and mental health professionals. What is Energology℠?

Grandmaster Hovey Williams developed his Energology℠ system in order to educate, train, and certify a type of professional energy healer—known as an Energologist℠—that would be commensurate with other types of healthcare professionals—such as physicians, mental health professionals, acupuncturists, chiropractors, etc. The certified Energologist℠ (certified by the Energology℠ Institute) stands apart from these other professionals in terms of scope of practice, purview, and the type of healthcare service they offer to the public, but they are commensurate with these individuals in terms of the depth and breadth of their training. While they study a different curriculum than other healthcare practitioners, they are thoroughly trained to function as professional healthcare providers in the energy healing field.
Grandmaster Williams sought to fill a gap in the energy healing industry in which thorough training programs are in the minority. Energology℠ offers thorough didactic and clinical training programs in the field of energy healing. Gone are the days where a single Saturday workshop is the best training you can get. Graduates of the Energology℠ Institute are fully professionalized energy healers.
As an analogy, medical doctors study a wide variety of subject areas. Despite studying biology, however, they are not qualified to be biologists. Similarly, after studying a number of courses in chemistry, they cannot function as chemists. Most physicians only take a course or two in pharmacology, whereas a doctor of pharmacy completes 35 courses in pharmacology. As a result, medical doctors are not remotely qualified to function as pharmacists. This “shallow” depth is true of each of the areas medical doctors study. At the end of all their training, a medical doctor is not any of the things they have studied. So, then what is a medical doctor? A medical doctor is a professional who studies just deeply enough in enough different areas, that the synthesis of this information enables them to offer a unique functional utility to society that is not offered by other professionals.
Similarly, an EnergologistSM studies a certain amount in a variety of different areas. The sum of this training enables the EnergologistSM to offer a functional utility to society that is unique, and that cannot be offered by any other professional.

After completing the study of the Energology℠ curriculum, the Energologist℠ is not a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, nor a practitioner of clinical psychology, nor an Ayurvedic doctor, nor a philosopher, nor a minister. What is an Energologist℠ then? An energologist℠ is a professional energy healer. They are trained to heal the mind, body, and spirit of their clients. When you train in the Energology℠ system, you will feel like a professional, and your clients will know you are a professional.
